Wimberley Civic Club spring events

By now everyone should have received the colorful, oversized postcard announcing “Spring Event 2020” by the Wimberley Community Civic Club. Spring Event is an annual fundraiser which is comprised of multiple events designed to offer something for everyone. This year there are six event categories: The Arts, Celebrate Learning, Dinners & Cocktail Hours, Fun & Games, Lunches & Brunches, and Talk of the Town.

Tickets for Spring Event went on sale last week and some events sold out immediately. There are still many choices available and you can purchase your tickets online at the Civic Club website.

Talk of the Town events include the always popular Wine Walk, which will be held downtown this year, Trivia Night, the Spring Style Show and, new this year, the Crawfish Boil.

The Wimberley Community Civic Club is a 501(c) (3) organization and has worked for 41 years to raise funds for scholarships and grants in our community. Last year, the Civic Club raised more than $70,000 through the efforts of Spring Event and the Home Tour.
