Tempt your taste buds at Dripping With Taste

Hone your culinary, spirits, beer and wine expertise at curated demonstrations led by the some of the brightest innovators in the industry.

Taking a deep dive into the rich culinary landscape of the Hill Country, Dripping With Taste Wine and Food demos will feature presentations from one of the best chefs in the region, and experts and sommeliers in the spirits, beer and wine industries.

Chef Andrew Striver from Vista Brewing, a new Dripping With Taste vendor, will be leading the foodie discussion. Vista Brewing, the newest area brewery, serves up finely crafted beers, perfectly paired with seasonal menus that capture the freshest flavors of the region. Chef Striver is known for showcasing each ingredient in the most creative way by blending classic and modern techniques to create memorable and beautiful dishes. Chef Striver will be on hand to teach hungry guests all about his cooking techniques as well as sharing some his creations with demo attendees in the form of delectable samples.

The distilled spirits demo will be led by Deb Niemeyer, a certified whiskey sommelier with her own company called Whiskey Chick. Deb’s whiskey experience encompasses many years and focusses on developing a deeper understanding of each unique whiskey. Deb invites attendees who, “want to learn to appreciate whiskey from nose to palate to finish. Through deductive tasting, come explore a few expressions of Texas whiskey with me. Discover the different nuances of each whiskey and walk away feeling and tasting like a pro!”.

Kicking off at 2:15 will be the beer demo. Join some of Texas’ best brewers for a panel discussion talking all things beer. The panel will last 45 minutes and will allow for questions and answers, and additional samples.

Wrapping up the demos at 4:45 is LaSaan Georgeson, the producer and creator of Bwinedate.com and author of If A Wine Were Me Which Would I Be?. Her demo will center around tasting and comparing white, red, and rose wines produced by Dripping With Taste 2018 winery vendors.
