EmilyAnn receives $3000 from KWB
Wimberley is a beautiful community. So pretty in fact, one of the reasons that visitors love to spend a weekend or vacations here. Keep Wimberley Beautiful (KWB) has supported all efforts in Wimberley.
EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens have been the recipient of grants from KWB for the past ten years and this year has not been different. EmilyAnn received a check for $3000.
“We are very grateful for the Keep Wimberley Beautiful and all their efforts to help maintain the Emily-Ann gardens and really the community of Wimberley,” Ann Rolling, EmilyAnn Executive Director.
“We are in a partnership with EmilyAnn, giving financial support and utilizing Norm’s (Rolling) labor,” Martha Knies of KWB said.
“We have one bed in the gardens which we clean up once a month,” KWB Co-Vice President Maria Henriksson said. They also cleanup the Keep Wimberley Beautiful signs when entering the city, the Senior Thrift Store plant beds and all around town. Soon they will do their magic at the park at the top of RR 12 before the Junction.
“All over Wimberley we maintain green spots,” Henriksson said.
