Cigar Lounge opens in Woodcreek

The Shade Tree Cigar Lounge held its grand opening in Woodcreek last weekend. Owners Chad and Andrea Smith of Buda welcomed guests with a generous buffet of barbecued meats and tours of their spacious humidor offering a hundred premium cigars. Behind the bar serving beer and wine were managers Kirby and Sharon Rogers. Well located next to Hill Country Spirits, the lounge allows visitors to bring their own spirits purchased from their next door vendor.

Not only does The Shade Tree offer premium cigars and cigar accessories such as cutters, lighters, punches, cigar travel cases and other related items, they also offer a selection of cold beers and award-winning wines from Texas.

“We’ve been planning to open a place for cigar enthusiasts since 2017,” said Andrea Smith, “but the pandemic slowed down our search until we found the perfect place in Woodcreek. “Not only do we welcome cigar aficionados, we hope that our comfortable and spacious accommodations bring people together for the camaraderie. At the current time, there is no other place to relax over a cigar in the community.”

The grand opening drew visitors who relaxed on leather sofas, chatting with other guests as college football aired on the large screen televisions. The Shade Tree Cigar Lounge is located at 1 Brookmeadow Drive, Building 2.
