Blue Hole plans Star Party
The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Wimberley! Bring your family and friends out to our Blue Hole Star Party event starting at 7pm on Sept. 28 to enjoy an evening of stargazing in the hill country. The Wimberley Valley Dark Sky Committee and the Wimberley Library will be sharing their telescopes and knowledge with us for the night. Come excited for our night sky themed tabletop discussion and story time for the kids and round out the night while looking to the skies. Admission is free. You are encouraged to bring something to sit on, a picnic, and flashlights and then meet us on the soccer fields near the basketball courts. Get ready to experience our park and the stars in a whole new way! Alcohol, smoking, and glass are prohibited at Blue Hole Regional Park. The event starts with a table top discussion at 7 p.m., followed by story time at 7:30 p.m. with the Wimberley Village Library. Star viewing with telescopes starts at around 7:30 p.m.
