Turnout drops in recent election
Voter turnout in the midterm elections again dropped statewide, with just over 45% of registered voters either casting ballots early or at the polls on Nov. 8. Republican candidates continued to hold a hammerlock on statewide positions, with incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott handily winning a third term over challenger Beto O’ Rourke. 11/17/2022 12:00 AM

We have lived in Woodcreek for 11 years. I have known Chrys Grummert since 2019. He works tirelessly for the citizens of Woodcreek. His understanding of how our City government should work is remarkable. Since becoming a Council member, the Brookmeadow overlay and Special Exemption for senior and disabled residents examples of Chrys’s work. He continues to put information on social media in a clear and helpful manner so that Woodcreek residents can be informed. 10/20/2022 12:00 AM

We are so lucky to live in Woodcreek and our beautiful Wimberley Valley. It is so important that Woodcreek continues to have good, strong leadership. We cannot afford to go back to the chaos, the big-spending, and the pro-development policies of the past. Therefore, I support: CHRIS GRUMMERT, LINNEA BAILEY, and JOE KOTARDA. These are good folks. They will work hard, and they will work together. They will continue the fight to protect our little community, and our amazing way of life. 10/20/2022 12:00 AM

Woodcreek Election
Woodcreek Election
As a new resident in 2018 to Woodcreek, I quickly learned many positive aspects about Chrys Grummert. Early on in his time in Woodcreek, he began attending all the city’s council meetings. He listened attentively, took notes, and discussed in a professional and supportive method. He has always spent strong quality time doing the research that was and is needed to make wise and fair decisions. Soon, people began asking Chrys questions about discussions and decisions for a better understanding. As one who service on city council in Friendswood, TX, I appreciate the quality of time that Chrys gives as a member of Woodcreek City Council in reading, researching, reading and listening and serving as a resident of Woodcreek. I have strongly support Chrys’ run for office in the past and will continue to do so with this election, as well. Thank you, Laura Ewing 10/20/2022 12:00 AM
