Three Lady Texan seniors signed Letters of Intent to stay in Texas, continuing their athletic careers at the college level after graduation. Claire Valentine takes her skills as goalkeeper to the piney woods of East Texas, playing soccer for the Angeline County Lady Roadrunners. Fellow soccer teammate Emily Thames joins former Lady Texans Casey Crawford and Holly Harwood in San Angelo to make her mark on the pitch for the Angelo State Rambelles. Friday Night Lights at Texan Stadium were delayed due to lights in the skies in the area Friday evening. Friday night’s football game in Lago Vista would determine playoff seeding for district 14. The Vikings came into the game sporting a single loss to Navarro in their week seven matchup and - with a win - could draw into a three-way tie for the district lead.
