One-way traffic planned on RM 150 between Dripping Springs and Kyle

Drivers traveling between Dripping Springs and Kyle should expect delays as one-way traffic control has been implemented for culvert improvements at Onion Creek on Ranch to Market Road 150.

According to Hays County, temporary traffic signals will be installed on both sides of the work zone to alternate traffic through the construction area as part of a Texas Department of Transportation project. Work will take place in phases at two low-water crossings, with one culvert under construction at a time.

The project includes culvert improvements and roadway widening at the low-water crossings. During construction, temporary signage and traffic control measures will direct motorists through the work zone and help prevent vehicles from stopping within the crossing areas.

Motorists traveling between Dripping Springs and Kyle should expect delays and are encouraged to watch for temporary traffic signals, signage and other traffic control devices. Drivers should use caution and allow extra travel time.

The work is weather dependent and subject to change. Questions about the project may be directed to the Texas Department of Transportation at 512-282-2113.
