Is It Just Me?

Do You Ever Wonder?

How do various pills and supplements know which part of the body they should go to?

How do you pick the only shopping cart with squeaky or wonky wheels? Or try to get another shopping cart when they are all stuck together?

Do companies who send advertisements in the mail make a good living doing that?

Why do those slip-on shoes requiring no bending work perfectly in the ads and not so perfectly putting them on your feet? Did you get a defective pair?

Why does white paint come in so many shades and none of those shades match the wall you are trying to touch up?

Why do birds poop on your car when there is so much ground space around it?

How does a weed grow six inches overnight? Is it worth staying up to watch it?

Why do stores discontinue your favorite food just when you have run out?

Why can’t detachable electronic cords come with a tag that names the electronic device it is made for?

Why can’t you just press 0 to talk to a live person instead of going through the pre-recorded, useless spiel you have to listen to? When trying to circumvent the system by pressing 0, it often takes you right back to the useless spiel.

Why do fresh vegetables seem to last longer in the store than in your own refrigerator?

What are people thinking when you are the last car in a row of cars and they pull out in front of you and go 10 miles under the speed limit? Do they not like the color of your car?

Why do you have 10 pair of sunglasses in your house, and none in your car?

Why do you often need gas the day after the gas price increases by 50 cents a gallon?

Why can’t we remember all three items we went to get at the grocery store without writing them down, or not finding the paper we used to write them down? Meanwhile, our brain remembers our phone number from when we were a child.
