The Texans rallied to beat Sinton 5-3 in Game 3 to win their regional semifinal game against the Pirates.
Wimberley improves to 23-8-1 for the season.
In Game 1, the Pirates struck first in the top of the first, scoring on an RBI double to take the early lead.
But Wimberley answered back in the bottom of the first as Alex Abrusley hit an RBI single to tie the game at 1-1.
The game remained tied at 1-1 through four innings of play as both the Texans and the Pirates were locked in a tight pitchers duel.
Sinton broke the tie in the top of the fifth, scoring on an RBI single to go up 2-1.
Though it looked like Sinton had the advantage, Wimberley again answered back.
In the bottom of the sixth with runners on the corners, Jake Dewell laid down a sacrifice bunt towards first base allowing Maverick Jacobs to score from third and tie the game at 2-2.
Sinton was unable to score in the top of the seventh inning as the Texans came up to bat with a chance to steal Game 1.
After the Texans started the at-bat with a strikeout, Cannon Couch reached first base on an infield single.
Sage Hall forced the one-out walk before the Texans loaded up the bases as Alex Abrusley was hit by the pitch.
Facing a 0-1 count, Jacobs connected with an RBI single in left field, scoring Couch as Wimberley won a dramatic 3-2 win over Sinton.
Sinton answered back in Game 2, scoring two unanswered runs in the final four innings to win 4-2 and force Game 3.
In Game 3, the Pirates took the early 3-0 lead in the top of the first only for the Texans to respond.
In the bottom of the first, Jacob Abrusley forced a bases loaded walk before Santana Raye hit a two-run RBI single, tying the game at 3-3.
Jackson Dewell forced a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the fifth, giving Wimberley the lead at 4-3.
Cannon Couch added a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth for an insurance run as Wimberley entered the seventh up 5-3.
The Texans got the final three outs in the seventh to seal the win and put Wimberley in the regional final.
Wimberley will face Floresville in the regional final. The Tigers are coming off a series sweep of the Robstown Cottonpickers in the regional semifinals.
Game 1 will take place 7 p.m. Wednesday at Seguin with Game 2 taking place 7 p.m. Thursday at Seguin.
Game 3, if necessary, will be played 7 p.m. Friday at Northeast Sports Park in San Antonio.
