Fish Fry fans may enjoy a community dinner and celebrate Armed Forces Day on May 17 at the Wimberley VFW Post 6441, 401 Jacobs Well Rd. Hardworking Auxiliary members will begin serving at noon and continue until the food is gone.
The event is free and open to the public, with donations gratefully accepted to support the post's
ongoing programs and community outreach. Guests may enjoy their meal inside or take
advantage of a convenient drive-through option.
Armed Forces Day, observed each year on the third Saturday of May, honors the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Organizers say “The VFW Post 6441 is proud to mark the occasion by bringing neighbors together around a shared table. Come hungry, bring your family, and join us in celebrating those who serve.”
