The Wimberley Village Library, in collaboration with the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WVACA), are presenting a two-part lecture series exploring the art of the Italian Renaissance and Baroque periods.
Led by Paolo Amadio, a Rome native, and passionate Italian art enthusiast, the first lecture, “Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel,” will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
The second lecture, “Leonardo da Vinci,” will be held on Thursday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m.
Both events will be hosted at the Wimberley Village Library, 400 FM 2325, in the Wimberley Community Room. These visually rich and insightful presentations will offer attendees a deeper look into one of the most influential and celebrated periods in art history.
Each event will include a raffle for a pair of tickets to attend the Sistine Chapel Experience in Austin; attendees must be present to win. Both lectures are free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Nomi González at [email protected].
