Wimberley first responders gathered on the lawn behind the Precinct #3 office last Thursday for a barbecue lunch provided by the Knights of Columbus. Earnings from Mardi Gras Casino Nights and other K of C fundraisers go toward the yearly event designed to thank responders and give them the opportunity to socialize without the stress of an unfolding emergency.
Cool Spring temperatures and music from Marvin and Laura Bottera allowed Wimberley EMS paramedics, Wimberley firefighters and rescuers and Hays County Sheriff’s constables and staff to linger and enjoy conversation during the event.
