A bronze “America 250!” patriot marker, installed at the Veterans Memorial Plaza at EmilyAnn Gardens, will be dedicated April 25 at 10 a.m. to record the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
The marker will be the only bronze “America 250! patriot marker in Hays County. It will also be the only patriot marker between Austin and San Antonio. The members of the Jacob’s Well Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host the event.
