Wimberley Garden Club will present popular speaker, Jay White, owner and publisher of Texas Gardener magazine, 10 a.m., in the meeting room at EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens, 1101 FM 2325. White will talk on “Preparing for Successful Spring Gardening: Timing and Tips.” No reservations are needed to attend the free lecture. Social time before the talk is at 9:30 a.m.

This is the last weekend to catch “Death Trap,” at the Wimberley Playhouse, 450 Old Kyle Rd. Performances of the acclaimed play written by Ira Levin and superbly acted on the Wimberley Players stage will take place Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 and available at wimberleyplayers.org.

Singer - Songwriter Susan Gibson will perform at Susanna’s Kitchen, 7:30 p.m., Wimberley United Methodist Church, at the corner of RR12 and CR1492. Tickets are $25. Cash or check only. Doors open at 7. Tamales, pizza, pie, coffee and soft drinks are available for purchase.
