The Texan boys soccer team had a rough week, tying Canyon Lake then falling to Bandera on the road.
Wimberley finishes the week with a 5-11-4 overall record and a 4-5-2 district record.
The Texans started the week on the road against archrival Canyon Lake where the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
Wimberley ended the week back on the road against the Bandera Bulldogs with both teams battling for the final playoff spot.
Bandera took the 2-1 lead in the first half before the Texans tied the game in second half on a Billy Brown goal, his second of the game.
But the Bulldogs answered back by scoring the game winning goal and coming away with a 3-2 win.
Wimberley returns home Friday against New Braunfels Long Creek. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday at Texan Stadium.
