The Watershed Association kicks off its next educational series, “Land. Water. Connection.” on March 21, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wimberley Village Library, 400 FM 2325. The session is titled “Land and Water in our Valley: Understanding the State of Hill Country Water.” Speakers are Watershed Association Director, David Baker and Public Engagement, Advocacy and Community Outreach Coordinator for the Watershed Association, Zane Porterfield.

The three-part series is a component of the Blanco Cypress Watershed Protection Plan and is a collaboration of the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, Hays County, and the cities of Woodcreek and Wimberley to advance water resiliency in the region.
The second event, “Activating Stewardship: Strategies for the Future” is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, in San Marcos.
The third event, “Community Watershed Field Project, Location TBD will take place Saturday, May 31. Details to follow at watershedassociation.org.
