The Texans came away with another critical district win, defeating the New Braunfels Long Creek Dragons 5-2.
Wimberley is now 5-9-2 for the season and their district record to 4-3 good enough for fourth place in district.
At the end of the first half, the Texans found themselves down 2-0 to the Dragons.
In danger of dropping a crucial district game, the Texans started their comeback.
Scoring five goals, two of which came from Hunter Hodgson, Wimberley rallied and defeated Long Creek 5-2. Raul Canil Montenegro and Kaden Geron also added goals for the Texans.
Wimberley closed out their week back on the road against the Marble Falls Mustangs, ending with a 1-0 defeat for the Texans.
Wimberley sits in a prime position to bring home a postseason berth with just five games remaining in the district schedule.
The Texans start the week at home against Davenport before going back on the road against Fredericksburg.
