The Texans captured a critical district win this past week, defeating the Bandera Bulldogs, 2-1.
Wimberley improves to 4-8-2 overall and 3-2 in district play, good enough for fourth place in the district standings.
Wimberley is back on the road for their next two games. The Texans will take on New Braunfels Long Creek Tuesday before traveling to Marble Falls to battle the Mustangs. Long Creek enters the week with a 7-6 overall record and a 1-4 district while the Mustangs enter the game with a 11-4 overall record and a 3-1-1 district record, tied with Bandera for second place.
Both games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
