The Texans came away with another district road win, beating the Canyon Lake Hawks 4-0.

Wimberley improves to 3-8-2 overall and 2-2 in district play.

Wimberley started the week at home against the rival Fredericksburg Battlin’ Billies.

The Texans battled hard against their Hill Country rivals in a competitive game but came up short against Billies, losing 3-2.

Wimberley looked to bounce back on the road when the Texans made the trip across the Devil’s Backbone to take on archrival Canyon Lake.

It was a dominating win of the Texans who pitched a shutout, en route to a 4-0 win over the Hawks.

Wimberley sits fourth place in the District 26-4A standings with just two games remaining in the first round of district play.

The Texans host Bandera Tuesday before going on their bye on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Texan Stadium.
