Wimberley defeated Marble Falls for the first time in program history, claiming their first district win of the season with a 2-1 victory over the Mustangs.
The Texans wrap up their week of district play, improving their overall record to 2-6-2 and their district record to 1-1.
Wimberley scored two goals in the first half to seal the historic win over the Mustangs.
The Texans wrapped up their week on the road against Davenport, ending with a 4-0 loss for Wimberley.
Wimberley will look to improve their district record this week at home as the Texans host the Fredericksburg Battlin’ Billies Tuesday then the rival Canyon Lake Hawks on Friday. Both games are set to start at 7 p.m.
