Approximately 75 citizens turned out to review and discuss the City’s Resilient Communities Program Comprehensive Plan last week at the Community Center. Included in the showcase were representatives from the Watershed Association’s One Water Plan.

Presented by Langford Community Management planners, the exhibition represented many months of intense planning to ensure that Wimberley can meet the goals of a resilient community.

”We’re thrilled by the community’s enthusiasm and support for the Resilient Communities Program Comprehensive Plan. The turnout demonstrates a real commitment to the future of Wimberley, and we look forward to continuing this important work together,” said Jerri Conrado, Langford Community Engagement Manager.

Following the showcase, planners will incorporate comments offered by residents into a final draft that will be voted on by the Wimberley City Council.
