The Lady Texans started district play this week with a pair of victories over the Marble Falls Mustangs and the Davenport Wolves.
Wimberley improves their overall record to 10-1-1 and their district record to 2-0.
The Lady Texans started off the week on the road against Marble Falls in a showdown two of the top teams in the district.
In a hard fought battle, Wimberley came away with a critical district win, defeating Marble Falls 1-0.
The Lady Texans were back home on Friday to battle the Davenport Wolves.
In another intense district battle, the Lady Texans came out on top, defeating the Wolves 2-1.
Wimberley is back on the road to start a three-game road stand as the Lady Texans travel to Fredericksburg to take on the Battlin’ Billies on Tuesday before traveling to Canyon Lake on Friday to battle the archrival Hawks. Both games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
