The Grant Committee of the Wimberley Community Civic Club will accept 2026 grant applications from Wimberley-area nonprofit organizations from February 10 to 27.
Each year, the Civic Club awards funding to local nonprofit organizations serving the 78676 ZIP code. The grant application is an online Google form designed to be easy to complete. Grant guidelines, including a list of required information, is available in the Grants section of the WCCC website at wimberleyccc.org/grants.
With 138 active members, the Civic Club raises funds throughout the year by hosting special events. These funds support scholarships for Wimberley High School, Katherine Anne Porter School and homeschooled seniors pursuing college or trade school education, as well as grants to nonprofit organizations serving the Wimberley community.
In 2025, WCCC awarded $40,000 in scholarships to 14 students and $50,000 in grants to 31 local nonprofit organizations. Grant recipients for 2026 will be notified in April and invited to attend the May WCCC general meeting to accept their award checks.
“Attending a WCCC event is an excellent way to support the needs of the Wimberley community while having fun and meeting new people,” said WCCC President Becky Williams.
Upcoming events in early 2026 include Time for Tea on March 5, Trivia Night on March 6, Women With Standards in Concert featuring Chick Morgan and Nancy Williams on March 22, and numerous Spring Events. The annual Hill Country Home Tour is scheduled for April 10 and 11. Tickets and event details are available at wimberleyccc.org/events.
Additional ways to support WCCC include becoming a community partner or by donating to the organization’s spring online auction. Community partnerships begin at $50 and offer individuals and businesses opportunities to give back while receiving philanthropic and marketing benefits. More information is available at wimberleyccc.org/sponsorships.
Community members interested in becoming more involved may also join WCCC. Annual membership dues are $35 and include access to monthly meetings featuring organizational updates, guest speakers and member activities.
