On any given afternoon in Wimberley, you’ll see it: full parking lots, busy cafés, and visitors pausing mid-bridge to take in the view. Tourism is woven into daily life here—and how we manage it matters to everyone who calls Wimberley home.
Wimberley Lions will host their third community forum on Tuesday, February 3, featuring Wimberley’s Director of Tourism Michele Woods. Her talk, “Wimberley Tourism: Promote and Protect,” explores how tourism fuels the local economy while raising important questions about preservation.
Held at Wimberley’s Community Center, 14068 RR 12 at 6 p.m., the forum recognizes the delicate balance the City of Wimberley and partner agencies are working to achieve—welcoming visitors while safeguarding the natural beauty, small-town charm and quality of life that make this community special to its residents.
