It was a perfect weekend for Wimberley at the Lady Texans Showcase where the hosts shutout all three of their opponents, outscoring them 18-0.
Wimberley improves their overall record to 7-1-1.
The Lady Texans started off the Showcase against the Lockhart Lions where Wimberley won 8-0, scoring four goals in the first half and four goals in the second half.
On Friday, Wimberley returned to Texan Stadium where the Lady Texans faced the Lorena Leopards.
Despite the game being a low-scoring affair, the Lady Texans came away with another win, beating Lorena 2-0.
In the final game of the Showcase, the Lady Texans wrapped up play against the Burnet Bulldogs.
It was another offensive blowout for Wimberley as the Lady Texans defeated the Bulldogs 8-0.
Wimberley will play their final non-district game of the season at home against Leander before starting district play on the road against Marble Falls. Both games kick-off at 7 p.m.
