The Lady Texans won their second district game of the season, defeating the rival Canyon Lake Hawks 73-28.
Wimberley improves to 11-15 overall and 2-1 in district play while Canyon Lake falls to 0-3 in district and 4-17 overall. This also marks the most points Wimberley has scored this season.
The Lady Texans bounced back from their loss to Davenport 64-36 earlier in the week.
Wimberley is back on the road Tuesday against Bandera before returning home on Friday to take on Fredericksburg. Both games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
