Residents of Alexis Pointe remembered to show Hays County Sheriff’s Office Deputies their appreciation by inviting them in and saying thank you with nothing other but donuts and coffee. Last week, twenty residents gathered around a long table and celebrated Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with Deputies Mark Andrews, Nick Moser and Tomás Hernandez.

In a further show of appreciation, residents made a handmade banner and presented it to the deputies. Deputy Mark Andrews of the Wimberley Sheriff’s Department tapped Moser and Hernandez to join him.

“This was a wonderful experience for both our residents and the police officers. It gave us the opportunity to express our gratitude face to face with the officers who keep us safe,” said Aislynn Rose, Memory Care Coordinator.
