The Lady Texans notched their first district win of the season, defeating the New Braunfels Long Creek Dragons 52-29. Wimberley dominated the entire game against the Dragons en route to the win, including scoring 23 points in the third quarter.
Senior captain Reagan Olmer led the team in scoring with 12 points followed by sophomore Ainsley Stotler with 11 points. Junior Maddie Webb was third in scoring with nine points and senior captain Riley Mauk was fourth in scoring with eight points.
The Lady Texans continue district play Tuesday on the road against Davenport before returning home Friday against Canyon Lake. Both games tip off at 6:30 p.m.
