Two great Wimberley concerns have teamed up to bring a great evening of music to the Community Center on Saturday, January 17.
The Civic Club presents the Wimberley Valley Big Band to perform a live concert of timeless tunes by legendary composers Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie. The playlist will also feature songs made famous by vocal greats such as Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and others.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and refreshments for a night of elegant music and dancing. Proceeds go to local non-profits and student scholarships. Tickets are $40 for advanced purchase, $50 at the door. Advance tickets are available at wimberleyccc.org. The Wimberley Community Center is located at 14608 RR12.
