As 2025 comes to a close, Keep Wimberley Beautiful is proud to reflect on a year filled with hard work, community spirit and meaningful progress. Thanks to dedicated volunteers and strong partnerships, the organization continues to make Wimberley a cleaner, greener and more welcoming place to call home.
Throughout the year, KWB volunteers devoted countless hours to the Thrift Store, providing essential financial support for the organization’s beautification and environmental programs. Their efforts funded a full calendar of activities that reached every corner of the community.
KWB teams were a familiar sight along local roadways as part of the Adopt-a-Highway program, removing litter and keeping Wimberley’s scenic routes looking their best. Neighborhood and downtown cleanups brought residents together for hands-on stewardship, while landscaping projects enhanced public spaces across town.
The group’s commitment to youth education flourished through the native gardens at the Wimberley Library, where young participants learned firsthand about pollinators, water-wise planting, and ecological responsibility. The Library’s Seed Library, supported by KWB, continued to thrive, offering community members free native plant seeds to foster sustainable gardening at home.
KWB also hosted several popular community events, including Shred-It Day, Dumpster Day in partnership with the City of Wimberley, and Drug Take Back Days with Precinct 3 constables. These events helped residents safely dispose of documents, bulk waste, and unused medications.
Throughout the year, KWB volunteers brought seasonal cheer by decorating welcome signs and public spaces for holidays and special events. They also maintained their beautiful garden space at the EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens, ensuring it remained a peaceful and inspiring spot for visitors.
This year also marked the launch of KWB’s new website, where residents can find updates and upcoming events at keepwimberleybeautiful.com.
KWB extends heartfelt thanks to the volunteers, partners, and neighbors who made 2025 a success—and looks forward to an even brighter 2026.
