Open auditions for the upcoming production of “Deathtrap” will be held December 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Wimberley Players, 450 Old Kyle Rd. The celebrated comedic thriller by Ira Levin follows a once-successful playwright who concocts a dangerous scheme to revive his career, blending mystery, dark humor and psychological intrigue. The production offers dynamic roles and an opportunity for actors to explore a smart, stylish script that continues to captivate audiences. The thriller will be directed by the BroadwayWorld Austin award-winning actor and director Rebecca Woods.
Callbacks, if needed, are scheduled for December 22. All roles are open and performers of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to attend.
Rehearsals will begin shortly after the Christmas holiday, with performances slated for February 20 to March 15, 2026.
