Wimberley ended the week on a positive note, taking first place in the Copper Bracket of the Navarro Tournament.
Wimberley improves to 2-7 for the season.
The Lady Texans got off to a rough start in the tournament, falling to Midland Greenwood [60-40] and host Navarro [54-39].
Wimberley then took another loss on Friday, falling to Flatonia 50-33.
But on the last day of the tournament, Wimberley found themselves in the winners column, defeating both Gonzales and San Antonio Great Hearts Northern Oaks.
Wimberley will look to make it three wins in a row Tuesday against Austin McCallum before playing in the Fairfield Tournament this weekend.
