Pedernales Electrical Cooperative improvements to install two new poles and heavier electrical lines closed the Wimberley square last Wednesday and left several businesses in the dark. With the aid of five bucket trucks, James Powerline Construction workers of Boerne carried out the upgrade into the evening. The new high voltage lines will allow the transmission of heavier electrical loads.
