The Wimberley Chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization is once again hosting its annual pecan sale to raise funds for the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship, which supports local young women pursuing higher education.

The community is invited to purchase fresh, locally sourced pecans for $14 per pound, with proceeds directly benefiting scholarship recipients. Pecans will be available at Brookshire Brothers in Wimberley on Saturday, December 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while supplies last. Orders may also be placed through local P.E.O. members.

“Our pecan sale has become a tradition in Wimberley,” said Karen Gallagher, Wimberley Chapter President. “It’s a wonderful way for the community to support local students and enjoy a Texas favorite at the same time.”
