During a signing ceremony at Wimberley High School, three Texans committed to athletic contracts with Texas universities. Paul Gumbert-Mendoza will attend St. Edward’s University for basketball. Mariah McCoy will attend the University of Texas Tyler for volleyball and Carson Peoples will attend the University of Texas Permian Basin, also for volleyball.
