There’s still time to get tickets for the 22nd Annual Hunters Night Out this Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for live music, a barbecue meal prepared by awardwinning BBQ Champions and complimentary beverages.
In addition to a popular Gun Raffle, the event holds a live auction of approximately 14 special items, 25 bucket raffles and card scrambles. One of the highlights of the evening is the onstage presentation of Grant Checks to several qualified local charities.
Advance ticket prices are $50 and available online at HuntersNightOut. com. Buy three and you receive a fourth ticket free. Tickets may also be purchased from any of the local Knights.
Organized by the Knights of Columbus, the annual event “Under the Big Tent” is St. Mary’s biggest fundraiser of the year, previously raising $1.6M to invest in local charitable, religious and scholarship organizations. In 2024, HNO fed and entertained more than 1,000 individuals from the Wimberley Valley and beyond. According to a recent press release, “. . . the Knights gave back virtually all monies raised to the community, to emergency situations and to a few church projects, last year.”
The Knights of Columbus are a global catholic fraternal service organization, with charity at the heart of their work and faith.
