Citizens of Woodcreek, I am honored to have served as your Mayor for the past four years, and love our city all the more for it. I’m looking forward to retirement, and have thought a lot about the best person to lead Woodcreek when I step down.
I’ve worked closely with both mayoral candidates for at least four years and consider them friends. Knowing the needs of the city and having worked side-by-side with both, my wholehearted endorsement goes to Debra Hines.
Debra Hines is one of the smartest and hardest working individuals I’ve ever known. If you appreciate our beautiful and safer roads, wonderful parks, conservation of our resources (especially our trees and water), and maintaining our city’s unique character over the past few years, you need to know that Debra Hines was a primary driver in making it all happen.
I also strongly endorse and ask for your support and vote for Krista Richardson and Linda Swedberg to serve as Council Members.
Krista Richardson is running for reelection, and she totally deserves a second term. She has been focused on protecting our resources through tree protection, water conservation and safety from wildfires and other emergencies. Krista has worked on our proposed Neighbor to Neighbor program which will be of benefit for all citizens, but especially our seniors who might need extra assistance at times.
Linda Swedberg will bring great experience to the City Council, including three decades of leadership within the Texas Attorney General’s office. She has also been a hard-working city volunteer serving on our Trees and Parks Board.
Electing these three dynamic women will keep Woodcreek moving forward, building on our successes. I am asking you to vote Hines for Mayor, reelect Richardson and Swedberg to Council.
