Dear Citizens of Woodcreek, Merrill and I have been proud owners of our little Piece of Heaven in the Wimberley Valley for over 25 years. We retired from professions and city life in Austin to live in a beautiful rural and unique tiny city, Woodcreek.
Merrill pursued his interest as a pastel painter, photographer and author. I dedicated my time to serving in city governance as planning & zoning commissioner, city council member, and was elected mayor twice.
We undoubtedly love our community, its beauty and most importantly its unique rural character. There is a strong history of fiscal health and interest in keeping property values growing and taxes low.
We have known Linnea Bailey for over twenty years. We support Linnea for mayor because she has proven excellent experience as a volunteer and elected council member with extensive knowledge of budget, accounting and finance. This professional expertise is essential for our city’s fiscal health.
We know Linnea will work to ensure that Woodcreek spends within its means. We trust she will restrict spending toward building up of reserves. We can count on Linnea’s plan to save more and spend less.
