Sept 19, 2025 Ms. Bailey has the professional and ethical qualifications that are needed to run a city powered by mostly volunteers. She knows the laws, the ethics, and the importance of good accounting skills. She is dignified, cheerful and friendly. She is smart!
In conversation with Linea, I feel genuinely heard. She inspires me to express myself, and to aim for success with reasonable goals. She is a good leader and will encourage a city of volunteers to work together peacefully; I have witnessed this special skill.
Linnea reminds me of an old Buddhist motto that I try to live by; “don’t take things to a painful point.” She knows instinctively when to stop pushing so hard in a conflict and how to hold the space, for peaceful resolutions and solutions to arise. I have witnessed Linnea encouraging good will and creativity among her supporters. She projects keen respect for others, regardless of their diverse histories and life goals.
The first time I spent significant time with Linnea Bailey, we were dancing at a city of Woodcreek gathering at CYJ. She dances gracefully, boldly. She dances like nobody’s looking – but I know that everybody is looking and enjoying her fearlessness. She manifests grace, skillful means, and bravery in her dance, and community lifeworks.
I appreciate her willingness and determination to run her campaign with those same qualities.
