The second annual Wimberley Venue Crawl, the largest “look-before- you-book” showcase of venues, lodging and vendors for Texas Hill Country weddings and gatherings, introduces visitors to 13 vendors in 3 days. For tickets and details go to wimberleyvenuecrawl. com.

September 20

The seventh annual Pride March begins at 6 p.m. from the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12, over the Cypress Creek bridge and ends at the Oak Park Welcome Center, 109 Oak Dr. where marchers can celebrate and mingle with music, guest speakers and festivities until 8 p.m.

September 21

The dedication of the new Bird Viewing Station at the Wimberley United Methodist Church, 1200 County Rd 1492, will take place at the close of 10 a.m. worship services.

September 22

The Wimberley Community Chorus begins rehearsals at 6 p.m., in Avey Hall at Chapel in the Hills, 14601 RR12.

Rehearsals with choral director, Shannon Carter, and accompanist, Karla Cruz continue Monday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through December 1, with concert performances on December 6 and 7. Singers must pre-register online at wimberleycommunitychorus.org

September 24

WimberleyArts & Soul Soiree, 6 to 10 p.m. at the Videre Estate, 725 Burnett Ranch Rd. WimberleyArts’ inaugural “Texas Black Tie” gala to celebrate its ten-year anniversary and the tenth anniversary of Wimberley’s designation as a Texas Cultural District by the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Wineberley’s bouquet making class and wine pairing event, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wineberley and the Wimberley Flower shop team up for a guided bouquet making class to create the perfect hostess gift, a bottle of Domaine Vordy Louise (Minervois) to pair with your creation, a glass of Domaine Ruhlmann-Schutz Crémant Rosé to enjoy during the class. $99 per person, limited spots available. Wimberley Library’s Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18 and up. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

The LOUD Crowd Parkinson’s Voice Group meets at Deer Creek of Wimberley, 555 FM3237, Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to noon.

Thursday

Farmers and Artisan market meets Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cowboy Church, 120 Green Acres Drive. Fresh foods from growers, arts, crafts and other vendors.

National Mahjongg League groups meet Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Valley Library, 400 FM2325. The library owns sets, players should bring their own card. On Wednesdays, a group meets 10 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens room at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR12.

Bring sets, cards and a $1 donation for coffee and snacks.

42 Players meet Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon at the Wimberley Senior Citizens Center. Partners not necessary. A $1 donation supports coffee and snacks. Look for the Senior Center suite and entrance on the right side of the Wimberley Community Center.
