Wimberley pulled off their second straight fourth quarter comeback, scoring two passing touchdowns from senior quarterback Jackson Parker in the fourth quarter to stun the rival Fredericksburg Battlin' Billies 28-21. The Texans improve to 2-0 for the season while the Billies fall to 0-2. The Billies scored first on the Texans, driving down to the 18-yard line before completing the 18yard touchdown pass to go up 7-0. However, Wimberley answered back. The Texans made a long drive, going down to the fiveyard line before senior running back Maverick Jacobs scored from five yards out. Junior kicker Bo Holeman kicked the extra point conversion to tie the game at 7-7. After the two quick scores from the Texans and the Billies, the game turned into a defensive slugfest.
