The U.S. Small Business Administration is launching its annual search for the best and brightest among them, opening nominations for its Small Business Awards. Not just about a trophy; it's a moment for an entire community to pause and say, "Thank you, we see you, we honor you." Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and their resilience, especially in the face of challenges like the pandemic, is a testament to their unwavering spirit. Small businesses make lives easier, more productive and more enjoyable, often without even realizing it. They are the cornerstone of neighborhoods and the engines of our economy. Too often, these entrepreneurs are too busy to stop and recognize their own incredible accomplishments. They are the ones working late nights, serving their customers with a personal touch, and investing their passion into every detail.
