Lindsey Deringer has been named the new executive director of the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce. Announced at the recent State of the City luncheon, August 20, she succeeds Becca Hancock.

“The Hiring Committee had the arduous task of navigating through 17 absolutely terrific applicants for the role of executive director,” said Helena Hauk, WVCC Chairman of the Board and Hiring Committee. “Once we interviewed Lindsey, there was no question as to who our next ED would be. It is a privilege to place one of Wimberley’s very own in this role and we are very excited to work with her and to share her with the community in this capacity.”
