Texas Ranger to speak at WIC

The Wimberley Institute of Cultures is pleased to announce its upcoming Fall meeting featuring acclaimed author and historian Bob Alexander as the keynote speaker. The event will take place September 15 at the Wimberley Community Center.

With more than 40 years of experience in law enforcement and the author of 18 published books, many which are focused on the storied history of the Texas Rangers, Bob Alexander is uniquely qualified to bring the past to life. Known for his compelling storytelling, Alexander will share captivating tales of what it was like to serve as a Texas Ranger on the early Texas frontier.

The evening begins with a meet and greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by Alexander’s talk at 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy a barbecue dinner provided by JP’s Bar B Que, making it a true Texas evening of history, food and fellowship.

Tickets are available now at WimWIC.org. Seating is limited, so early reservations are encouraged.
