Mississippi Pot Roast, southern-style green beans and Mama’s Best Banana Pudding are just a few of the homecooked gems to be enjoyed at Chef Cable’s pop-up dinner at Creekhaven Inn and Spa, September 6.
Perfect for a Saturday night date, a girls’ night out, or to celebrate something special, guests can enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu of seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. The event is hosted by Creekhaven Inn and Spa and will take place on the their serene, tree-lined grounds.
The evening will begin with antipasto skewers drizzled with fig balsamic, followed by a fresh garden salad dressed with a choice of champagne vinaigrette or buttermilk ranch.
For the main course, guests will select from two entrées, Mississippi pot roast served over garlic parsley mashed potatoes, with pepperoncini peppers, carrots and rich savory juices or chicken with bacon, spinach and mushroom cream sauce served over tender herb egg noodles.
Both options will be accompanied by southern- style green beans, homemade garlic parmesan bread and finished with the sweet Southern favorite, Mama’s Best Banana Pudding.
