Did you know that feeding deer is bad for them? The City of Woodcreek prohibits the feeding of deer in the city. Per city code ยง 90.20, it is unlawful for any person to intentionally or knowingly feed whitetail deer, or any other member of the deer family, within city limits. Prohibited actions include maintaining receptacles, such as feeders, with corn, oats, commercial mixes or other vegetable matter not part of a live, growing plant hand-feeding deer; intentionally leaving food in areas where deer commonly feed. Violations are subject to enforcement.
Election Season Update
Election season is here. Six candidates will draw for a place on the ballot at City Hall on August 25th at 10 a.m. Following the drawing, the candidates will be announced in the order in which they will appear on the ballot.
