Pedernales Electric Cooperative joined members of the Hays County Commissioner’s Court last week to present the PEC Youth Tour delegates who recently returned from Washington D.C.

PEC’s Community Outreach Specialist, Mikayla Herron, gave a presentation to the court last week to talk about PEC’s Youth Tour program and the delegates’ experience in the nation’s capitol.

She was joined by the students which included two recent Wimberley High School graduates. Participants on the “Government in Action Youth Tour” were Gage Trudeau, a recent graduate from Wimberley High School, Sophia Vitela, another recent graduate from Wimberley High School, Avery Auditore, an incoming senior at Jack C. Hays High School, and Gabriela Correa, another incoming senior at Lehman High School. Gabriela’s brother, Julio Correa was a Youth Tour delegate last year who attended the presentation with her.
