The June Lions meeting welcomed new President, Mindy Curnutt, for the 2025/2026 year. Mindy brings her entrepreneurial, technical, and creative experience into her goals for the club.
Before becoming President, she held year-long terms progressing from VP3, then VP2, finallyVP1. When asked what she would like to accomplish during her tenure, she replied, “My first goal is to extend the Lions into current technical footprints, including revamping our website, optimizing our social media reach with Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok to reach younger and contemporary users. To feed those streams, I’ve created a Paw-Parrazi that brings the high school and community LEO clubs to capture images and stories from MarketDays. These ideas support my second goal to expand the demographics of our membership toward younger, multicultural, and new residents of Wimberley. Lastly, I have a goal to create additional revenue streams by cooperating with other non-profits in the area.”
Mindy joined the Lions Club in 2021 and immediately brought fun into every position she held. Beginning with Tail twister, she made the meetings fun, entertaining, and lively. If you are hot and hungry for ice cream, she manages Lions Club booth Number 3 and participates in the ordering and distribution for Market Days. She serves on several committees, including grants, scholarships, and marketing.
In addition to her community service, she owns two companies: Curnutt Data Solutions and Stampola. A music lover and entertainer, she plays with Hill Country Honeys, It’s 5 O’ClockSomewhere, or River Mountain Green.Wimberley Lions Club is lucky to have Mindy as incoming President with a strong board of directors,“ said Past President Doug McLean.
