A new after-school program in Wimberley for primary age school children at Blue Hole Primary and Jacob’s Well Elementary is now taking new reservations for the Fall 2025 term.
The Young Minds After School Program offers families a uniquely enriched after-school experience for their children. Licensed by the State of Texas, the program will begin August 14 with services available Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. throughout the school year. The aim of the program is to help children complete their homework while they are there.
The program is a teacher-run learning center staffed by Wimberley Independent School District teachers and employees. The program provides transportation from the school to its location at the corner of RR12 and 105 East Meadow Lane, as well as special tutoring, an indoor activity center, an outdoor play area and a wholesome snack. Additional specialty events and activities will be scheduled throughout the year.
